Job Summary
The Visitor Services Clerk is responsible for greeting and providing general information to the public, handling financial transactions and staffing special events. Processes museum store transactions, maintains museum store sales records, assists with monthly store inventory, and re-stocks merchandise. Maintains the front desk and other public spaces in a professional manner. Monitors security of facility by periodically walking through the facility enforcing policies and opens and/or closes facility on a daily basis. Performs tasks that will require walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching and sitting. Performs lifting tasks up to 25 pounds. Experience
Experience – Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent. One year experience in a public reception related position. General computer skills including using word processing and spreadsheet software and other general office equipment. Additional Information
