M Health Fairview's Ridges Cancer Clinic, located in Burnsville, MN is a department of University of Minnesota Medical Center. We are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to support our busy Oncology/Hematology clinic with cancer care support services and extensive IV infusion services. We are the largest cancer care provider in the central metro region.

Reports to the Manager of the Burnsville Ridges Cancer Clinic
Our team includes several MD’s, Medical Assistants, RN’s, Pharmacist and Social Worker
Oncology/Hematology Clinic with cancer care support services and extensive IV Infusion services

Responsibilities/Job Description:
Scheduling will be done over phone and using multiple phone lines
Responsible for serving patients, provider and staff in facilitating access to services, tests, procedures at direction of the care provider
Coordinating work flow of exchange of information related to patient activity Performs registration, scheduling, and other front desk clerical duties
Answer incoming calls
Providing high level of customer service both face to face and via phone with patients and interdisciplinary teams such as radiology, imaging, other clinics
Seeks out solutions to time conflicts and participates in problem solving
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Experience using computers, word/outlook, phones, fax and email
This position requires remote work. In addition to adhering to all Fairview policies, guidelines, procedures, the Fairview Commitments, and the Code of Conduct, it is the expectation the following requirements of the remote work policy will be met, including but not limited to:
Remote workspace that is clean, safe, and professional.
Maintains an internet connection consistent with Fairview standards at remote workspace.
Remain productive and responsive during their scheduled work hours.
Attend primary Fairview location, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Vocational/technical training, diploma or Associate's degree
1-3 years prior work experience in a healthcare setting including prior scheduling, EPIC and templating
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience using multiple phone lines
