Morgan Bridge, Atlantic City
Relief Block Operator:
Open and close bridge.
Provide clear communication to Dispatcher on marine radio.
Reports to Manager, System Operations or other designated Officer as directed.
Responsible for care of block and interlocking stations, bridges, and arranging the use of blocks, tracks, interlocking switches and signals.
Responsible for prompt movement of trains in accordance with rules, Form D’s and special instructions.
Maintain records of train movements.
Pass NJ Transit’s Clerical Test
Upon accepting position, will be required to pass NORAC testing and acquire NORAC certification
Successfully pass the pre-screening process including drug test, physical, and criminal, employer, and driving background checks.
Present a valid driver’s license and High School Diploma or GED.
Good communication skills.
Starting Pay Rate:
$24.03 per hour
