COMPENSATION
Competitive hourly wage between $28.00 – $30.00
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified Ready Mix Concrete Dispatcher to join our innovative operations team! The Ready Mix Concrete Dispatcher supervises, and coordinates activities of employees engaged in the manufacturing of concrete products and the delivery of those products. In addition, this position quotes prices, responds to customer requests, receives orders and ensures timely deliveries of top-quality products and service.
This is a full-time position located in Eau Claire, WI working 55-60 hours per week during construction season and 40-50 hours per week in the winter.
Additional Responsibilities:
Utilize software programs to ensure the optimization of mixer fleet to ensure timely customer deliveries efficiently
Calculate yardage, provide pricing, and general information to customers
Monitor external factors such as weather and traffic to ensure optimized delivery of concrete
Dispatch drivers to job sites and instruct delivery requirements and job site conditions
Receive cash payments and process credit card transactions for cash on delivery (COD) orders
Assist with ticketing aggregate orders
Follow OSHA and MSHA Regulations
Additional duties as become necessary and/or are assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous work experience is preferred, not required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills
Possess employee management skills
Must be organized and able to multi-task
Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
Problem solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
Safety focused
Pass a physical and a drug/alcohol test
Must be able to lift 20 pounds
