Job Description
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for conducting plan administration services to include benefit calculations and annual data updates in accordance to plan documents and government regulations by maintaining a thorough understanding of the plan design (e.g. coverage levels, options, and eligibility guidelines); is responsible for all operational tasks associated with the City"s defined benefit pension plan and police 185 plan; using software to maintain pension data and calculate benefits; uses a comprehensive computer based finance and accounting system to perform complex and routine analytical and technical accounting functions and associated accounting support duties.
