Overall Purpose: Site point of contact to provide management peers and leaders advice and counsel to handle and resolve issues related to consistent administration of and compliance with attendance and payroll policies/guidelines, procedures, etc. Completion of clerical operations for payroll, timecard reporting, error reporting, audits, disability matters, attendance matters, wages and taxes, bill payments, disbursement accounting, asset management and assistance with financial reporting upon request. May provide payroll support for nonmanagement employees including employee record changes/tracking, benefits, payroll, and attendance. Researches issues involving employee movement, compensation, and all other matters affecting personnel movement, payroll and attendance. Adheres to administrative guidelines and may provide specialized services to a select client group. Tracking errors reports, diagnostic report, primary contact for data count, HR systems with the payroll unit as well as field personnel systems analyst for payroll vendor system, internal time and expense reporting system, human resources system, internal mainframe personal database. Interact or partner with union on attendance related matters and promote union/management climate conducive to achieving goals. Respond to Union Requests for Information (RFI), gather, organize and submit documents to Union and applicable Company leaders.
Job Contribution: Typically, an entry-level position, applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Works on problems with limited scope under the direction of superiors. Works on audits/administrative tasks assigned by leadership.
Education: Typically, high school diploma or GED preferred, specialized skill training or certification may be required.
Experience: Typically requires 0-2 years Payroll and Attendance experience.
