This is a regular part-time position (24 hours per week on average) with a varied schedule to include evening and weekend hours.
Performs administrative support work providing manual and clerical duties for division, while assisting with a variety of recreation activities, programs, events, facility operations (including front desk coverage at the Richland Community Center, which is a major function of the job and a large portion of the assigned duties), and related work as apparent or assigned. Works a varied schedule to include days, evenings, and weekends. Work is performed under close to moderate supervision of the Parks & Recreation Coordinator and/or Recreation Manager ("supervisor").

Minimum Qualifications
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED.
Desirable Qualifications
Previous work, or volunteer, experience in a customer service role.
Working knowledge, or higher, of Microsoft Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.
Washington State Food Worker Card.
Supplemental Information
Selection will be based on overall qualifications, skills testing, and an interview process. Final selection will be based on a comprehensive background/reference check and a pre-employment physical commensurate to the position.
Qualified applicants that apply by Tuesday November 16th will be given priority consideration for the first round of skills testing and interviews.
First round of skills testing will take place the week of November 16th and first round interviews will take place the week of November 29th.
