Processes incoming and outgoing mail and delivers mail as needed.
Processes incoming mail; places mail in individual boxes in an accurate and timely fashion.
Sorts patient, physician and departmental mail, as needed.
Re-addresses and forwards mail of formerly employed doctors and hospital personnel, as required.
Opens hospital addressed mail and dispatches appropriately.
Performs outgoing mail processing; prepares all outgoing mail for presort.
Weighs and processes mail through postage meter machine; processes oversized mail and packages by individually weighing, stamping and placing in mail- bags.
Places mail in appropriate trays and bins.
Assists in ensuring that all procedures necessary to process and distribute mail are executed in a timely manner.
Operates various mail equipment (i.e. letter opener, postage meter machine, Arrival System and Express delivery equipment).

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
