Who we're looking for
Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a highly motivated, qualified HR Communications and Engagement Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in implementing a comprehensive HR communications strategy, working to create and deliver communications that reinforce the TMMK's priorities and drive team member engagement. The HR Communications and Engagement Analyst will take a tactical role in writing, editing and delivering HR communications, aligning with both the HR Communications strategy and business partners for internal communications.
Reporting to the Manager, HR Communications, the person in this role will support HR as we work to develop and deliver clear, comprehensive and effective communications in support of internal HR programs and initiatives with business customers with a primary focus on engagement.
What you'll be doing
Collaborate closely with the HR Communications Manager, the Communications and Engagement Team, and other key stakeholders on intent, approach, and delivery of communications material.
Development of engagement activities geared toward manufacturing team members.
Helping to manage and maintain the HR Communications calendar, and work with business partners and key stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Work directly with key groups within HR to execute specific communication projects, including development of key messages, establishing timelines, and identifying the best vehicles by which to deliver messages.
Leverage internal communication tools (Digital Screens/Toyota app, etc.) adding new content and adjusting existing structure and information to ensure the best possible user experience.
Help to promote a culture of excellence by ensuring partners adhere to required standards and processes, and that timeliness and accuracy are applied to all communications.
Develop and execute engagement strategies to align with company and business partner initiatives that will educate, engage and excite our customers.
What you bring
Bachelors of Science degree (or higher) and/or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment
HR experience including building and implementing communication strategies utilizing electronic and in person delivery methods
Project management experience including creating and managing timelines and updating project status to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Experience working and communicating with all levels of Team Members and Management including shop floor to executive level
Experience producing relevant content for various social media platforms for internal and external company communications
Added bonus if you have
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, Public Relations or Marketing
HR experience within a Compensation, Staffing and/or Team Member Relations role
Experience tracking metrics to ensure optimal audience targeting and receipt of message through use of Power BI or similar
HR experience with a manufacturing environment or for a manufacturing company
HR experience for a company with an employee base <1000
Experience with design, publishing and printing of company communications
