Under direct, but not constant supervision while assigned to line crews to safely drive a truck, on occasions pulling a trailer or float, to and from a garage, transporting employees, material, and equipment from job to job, to operate truck – mounted power machinery when opportunity exists, to do ground work or handling of tools and materials and to do similar and less skilled work as assigned. Meet a 25 domicile requirement
Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
Receive a recommended status on the company apprentice Lineman Evaluations
Climb poles on deenergized Lines
As a condition of acceptance on this job, candidates who are otherwise qualified will be required to take and pass the appropriate State/Federal driver's licensing requirements (have or be able to obtain a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License), medical testing and drug screening and the Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST R) test.
