The Front Office Representative is the first line of contact for a patient in the medical office. Position serves as the liaison between the physician and the patients. Information is gathered from the patient and entered into the computer system to create an encounter record. Responsible for upfront collections. Delivers customer service support to staff, patients, families, visitors.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience
One (1) year of experience with office functions or customer service preferred
Two (2) years of Medical Office experience preferred
