The Federal Employees Program, InterPlan Programs and Shared Advantage clerical team print, fold, stuff, and mail a high volume of letters, enter claims, activate and/or update cases in Facets, close cases, scan documents, perform basic research and update as needed. Most of the work is online but there is office work for the print jobs and other duties as required. The Clerical Support, Entry clerk will report to the Operations Supervisor. In this role you will be expected to complete daily tasks to ensure deadlines impacting IPP, SA, and FEP performance measurements are met.
In this role, you will:
Batch, track, compile and distribute mail, proofread, and assemble documents in addition to general office support such as faxing, filing, and copying
Answer and direct phone calls
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
Photocopy, scan, and fax
Prepare and send outgoing mailings and packages
Activate electronic files to create cases for processors
Print, fold, stuff letters into envelopes while working in the office to meet timeliness measurements
Data enter claims as a priority to meet timeless measurements
Update and or route/pend cases to appropriate queues/roles for additional processing
Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a high school diploma or GED
0-2 years of prior relevant experience
Basic experience in Microsoft Office
Required proficiency in keyboard skills
Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of work in a timely manner
Requires ability to read/write and do basic math
Requires ability to interpret guidelines and ask questions
