This is a 'Group 3 position' and please view the salary classifications/schedule which can be found on our website under Human Resources – collective bargaining agreements.REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education, Assistant Director of Special Education, Building PrincipalResponsibilities for a Behavior Technician include the following: -Support general classroom teachers with implementation of behavior plans, data collection and support resolution of challenging behaviors.-Work directly under the direction and guidance of the school BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and principal-Work collaboratively with a BCBA to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-Collect, organize, and enter data on students behavior goals-Support with crisis management -Provide other related duties that the Special Education Director, and/or Principal may assignREQUIREMENTS: 1. Experience working with students who have behavioral needs2. Completion of CPI; training will be provided3.
