The Admissions Coordinator will arrange, facilitate, and execute all aspects of admission, enrollment, and matriculation for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program on the St. George, Utah campus. The admissions coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students. The admissions coordinator is also responsible for recruiting prospective students.
Location: St. George – UT
Duties involve travel to in-state and out-of-state locations.
Responsibilities
1. Meet with students to provide information and guidance on academic-related issues, such as DPT prerequisite requirements, application and reapplication to the DPT program, course planning, and other program requirements.
2. Facilitates DPT admissions and application process including application screening, application review, applicant interview day, and orientation.
3. Executes applicant interview day in its entirety including scheduling and coordinating vendors, all applicants, and interviewers.
4. Compiles data and statistical reports and correspondence in relation to DPT program admissions.
5. Conducts information sessions and attends graduate fairs to recruit prospective students.
6. Maintains DPT & PhD online academic files that includes graduate tracking information for current students.
7. Facilitates the DPT program scholarship process from application to post-acceptance.
8. Collects and disseminates information to students, faculty and departments about changes in admission requirements or University policies and adjusts advising strategies as appropriate.
9. Serves on University committees, attends monthly meetings, and makes recommendations that affect curriculum requirements, advising processes and program development, and published materials.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ related experience, or equivalency.
